The National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare (NCPSSM) will be joined by Members of Congress and representatives from labor groups to unveil the results of a new poll commissioned by NCPSSM and conducted by Lake Research Partners about public attitudes concerning Social Security and Medicare.
At a time when Congress is considering privatizing and cutting Social Security and Medicare, the poll results demonstrate voters overwhelming desire for Congress to leave these programs intact and protect the nation’s commitment to hard working Americans who pay into the system.
